We provide a variety of moisture barriers to suit every situation.
In this picture, the moisture barrier (the grey product) has been applied over a basement concrete sub-floor.
The flooring adhesive is the light brown product troweled on over top.
The wood floor is then installed into the bed of glue.
Concrete slabs on grade can wick moisture that can eventually damage the hardwood flooring.
Steps should be taken to seal the concrete.
For floating floors the moisture barrier is simply a 6mm polythylene sheet installed on top of the concrete.
