Environmentally Friendly Finish
Traditional wood flooring finishes are harmful to the environment and not pleasant to work with. Fortunately there are a number of options that are not harmful to the environment. In addition to water-based finishes there are several other environmentally friendly choices. Shellac and tung-oil finishes are two popular alternatives that are both safe and stand up to traffic.
